St. John the Baptist Parish - Parish President Natalie Robottom, Economic Development Director Jerry Jones and other Administrative staff and Councilmen Snyder, Madere and Sorapuru joined Judge Sylvia Taylor for a ribbon cutting ceremony for her new private law practice. Members of the River Region Chamber of Commerce and Econmic Development Commission were also in attendance.
Located at 1126 West Airline Highway in LaPlace, Taylor will continue to handle workers’ compensation and personal injury cases. “I have been very blessed throughout my career and am ready to serve my River Parish community,” said Taylor. Taylor opens the new practice just two years after retiring from the Workers’ Compensation Office in Harahan.
On behalf of parish government, we would like to welcome Judge Sylvia Taylor to the small business community in St. John the Baptist Parish. “Mrs. Taylor remains dedicated to strengthening her knowledge of how best to start a small business with such a strong foundation,” said Economic Development Director, Jerry Jones. “As a recent FastTrac graduate, she has developed the foundation for her business and is now ready to apply what she has learned. The FastTrac Entrepreneurial program continues to bring great Business Ideas to life. We look forward to our upcoming FastTrac class which begins in the fall.”
President Robottom added, “Judge Taylor has been a long time partner and community servant and we welcome her to her new office and encourage our residents to take advantage of this convenient location.”
