The 44th Annual Andouille Festival Announces Music and Food Line-Up

St. John the Baptist Parish –  The 44th Annual Andouille Festival presented by Marathon Petroleum Company, LP announced the 27 food vendors, 23 craft vendors and more than 10 entertainers selected to participate in this year’s festival. The festival is set to take place October 13 - 15, 2017 at the Thomas F. Daley Memorial Park, 2900 Highway 51 in LaPlace.

 

Food vendors highlight the festival namesake, Andouille, in their dishes as well as local cuisine and festival favorites. Vendors will have a wide range of andouille based dishes including andouille egg rolls, smothered rabbit and andouille poboy, andouille sausage sliders and andouille gumbo. The festival will also feature other Louisiana festival favorites like crawfish monica, stuffed bell peppers, fried alligator, bacon wrapped shrimp and more. Live entertainment for the festival includes Dwayne Dopsie & the Zydeco Hellraisers, the Chee Weez, Gina Brown & Anutha Level, DJ Captain Charles and more. View the complete music lineup here.

 

For years, the Andouille Festival has been a St. John the Baptist Parish tradition. The festival features music, food, festivities and good times. Thousands of people attend the weekend festival and participate in the many events the festival has to offer.

Additionally, pre-order official festival posters are currently available for sale at the St. John Parish Economic Development Department and online. Starting in October, posters can be ordered at Matherne's Supermarket in LaPlace, Don's Supermarket and Greg's Supermarket in Reserve. One-hundred signed and numbered festival prints are being sold for $40.00 each and signatured non-numbered posters are $30.00 each. Posters will also be sold in the General Store the weekend of the Andouille Festival. A portion of poster sales will be donated to breast cancer research.
